LOS ANGELES – Joss Whedon is set to take “Batgirl” to the Big Screen, according to reports today.
The “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” creator is set to take on the super heroine for DC Extended Universe and Warner Bros, say published reports. Whedon is set to write, direct and produce the yet untitled film which would be the Batman franchise’s next opus. Toby Emmerich, president and chief content officer for Warner Bros.
